Welcome to the Shaker Regional District's Preschool Program
This preschool program is based on the awareness that learning is a community experience. For the preschooler, this included family, friends, and community members!
The preschool program strives to include the following:
1. Being sensitive to parent's feelings, needs, and concerns
2. Soliciting input and feedback from parents
3. Maintaining contact with parents throughout the year
4. Keeping parents apprised of the program throughout the year
5. Sharing with parents what we know about child development
6. Encouragement of visitation and volunteer participation
7. Using the community as a resource
8. Being aware of parental concerns and providing resources for parent-teacher education
